Josiah's House

Josiah’s House is an orphanage of four houses now being built in the Dominican Republic. When complete it will be home to 32 boys. Each house will sleep 8 boys, plus a husband and wife, thus giving them a family environment. Proceeds from the book “Have Heart” will go toward the building and support of the orphanage.  

Recent Trips

Siah’s friends were changed by all that had happened in their lives when he went to Heaven. They were compelled to do more than the usual Spring break this year, and instead wanted to go on a mission trip. A few approached us with their request so we set out to make this thing happen. The kids proceeded to raise $12,000.00 that went to the building process of the orphanage. Then in April we took 32 of Josiah’s friends, adults and kids, along with our own family to the DR for a hands on experience.

Our lives have changed. If our lives are not changed by such earth shattering events, then we must be closed off to all the Lord wants to work in us. Let us never again return to a rut, but be after Gods heart toward the lost and needy.

This Summer the High School group of Grace Chapel will be taking a mission trip back to the DR. We know the Lord is so happy about this, and so is Siah.
